Join us for our annual symposium! This year’s theme is “Cultivating Literacy and Learning at the Neighborhood Level.”
Attendees will enjoy dynamic sessions on strategies and best practices that foster learning and equity for adults and their families. Topics include Health Literacy, Parent Literacy/Multigenerational Learning, Digital Literacy, and English as a Second Language. Our special keynote is by Dr. Karika Parker on the EDisON “Education is On” initiative.
The symposium is free and is for anyone interested in supporting adult literacy – from experienced volunteer tutors and instructors to individuals who want to learn more about how they can serve this important cause, particularly during a time of virtual learning. The symposium is presented in proud partnership with Western Michigan University. Attend in person or virtually. Don’t miss it!
