His service as a volunteer tutor and instructor positively impacts the lives of the learners who are fortunate to work with him. He also inspires others to volunteer and teach adults by his example and his remarkable lifelong dedication to education,” Evans said.
On Thursday, October 29th, we held our annual event to honor our volunteers, learners, and partners. This virtual celebration featured some very special guests, recognitions, and awards!
This virtual event is for anyone who is interested in supporting adult literacy – from experienced volunteer tutors and instructors to individuals who want to learn more about how they can serve this important cause during a time of social distancing and virtual learning.
